1997-2010- Bill Thompson and Associates

Drilling Consultant-Supervised drilling various gas wells in East Texas, working as consultant with Chuck Hinton in developing Hinton Drilling Company, L.P., performed as a drilling consultant advisor to Pemex in Reynosa, Mexico, supervised drilling of several Gulf Coast gas wells, supervised the drilling of an 18,400' Cotton Valley Lime Pinnacle Reef Well in Anderson County, Texas, supervised the drilling of a 14,000' Smackover Well in Wood County, Texas, prepared drilling prognosis & supervised drilling of 13,300' salt dome overhang well in Smith County, Texas.

1995-1996- Nicklos-Hinton Drilling Company

Manager of Engineering, prepared bids (turnkey, footage and day work), prepared and executed drilling programs for turnkey jobs, approved equipment purchases and repair, worked closely with Operators drilling the deep Cotton Valley "Reef' wells, company sold to Nabors Industries December 1996.

1991-1995- W. B. Hinton Drilling Company, Inc.

Vice President - Drilling Operations, managed drilling operations of 8 active drilling rigs, prepared and executed drilling contracts, prepared bids and bid letters, assisted with rig marketing, approved equipment purchases and major equipment repairs, instituted a "Performance Drilling" contract for horizontal drilling in the A us tin Chalk.

1972-1990- TXO Production Corp.

Drilling Superintendent- East Texas District, managed 8 Drilling Foremen, supervised drilling operations on 8-12 active rigs, prepared AFE's, prepared casing designs and cement programs, supervised deep, complex gas well drilling program

1970-1972- Goldruss Drilling Company

Drilling Engineer- Houston, prepared bids including deep turnkey wells in South Louisiana, designed casing programs for turnkey drilling, supervised equipment purchases and repairs, well set on deep, critical turnkey.

1968-1970- Delta Drilling Company

Drilling Superintendent -Rocky Mountain District, managed drilling operations for 6 rigs, prepared bids, and supervised rig maintenance.

1959-1968- Hughes Tool Company

Regional Engineer - Denver, Colorado, prepared bit programs for the Rocky Mountain Region, ran field-tests on experimental bits, made sales calls, completed the Hughes Tool training program which included rock bit design, tool joint design and product manufacturing and marketing.
